1. The Kardashians’ Bora Bora getaway
Also known as the most iconic Kardashian family vacation, their trip to the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora was very entertaining, to say the least. The family stayed at the luxurious Hilton Conrad Bora Bora Nui, where their extravagant lifestyle comically clashed with the island’s tranquility. From the oceanfront photoshoot where Kim famously lost her $75k diamond earring to Kourtney telling her to calm down because “there are people dying,” this episode will constantly live in our memory rent-free.
2. Neil Patrick Harris’ Ecuador and the Galapagos excursion
In 2022, Neil Patrick Harris brought along his husband, David Burtka, and their 2 children, Harper and Gideon, to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. Their two-week trip in Ecuador included everything from trying roasted guinea pig at Zazu in Quito to taking a trip to the Middle of the World Monument. The next leg of their trip through the Galapagos was on a cruise through Hurtigruten Expeditions. Here, they were able to explore some of the most pristine islands like Española and Santa Fe; a once in a once-in-a-lifetime experience they will never forget.
3. Chrissy Teigen & John Legend’s Hawaiian adventure
In 2022, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend and their 2 children, Luna and Miles, took a trip to Hawaii for some fun in the sun. Chrissy lived there for a few years during her childhood, so she was excited to show her family where her best memories took place. While they enjoyed plenty of time relaxing on the beach, the highlight of the trip was trying all the different foods around the islands. One of their favorites is Leonard’s Bakery, located in Honolulu, which just so happens to be Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s fav spot too!
4. Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom’s Venice visit
In June 2021, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and kids Flynn and Daisy Dove visited Venice, Italy for a much-needed holiday. Their trip was full of gondola rides, sightseeing and of course, lots and lots of Italian food. The family stayed in the glamorous Aman Hotel set in the famous Palazzo Papadopoli on the Grand Canal. This hotel is known for its interior design features and private gardens on the hotel’s grounds. I think we’re all in need of a trip here.
5. Serena Williams’ Bahamas holiday
Serena Williams and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, brought their daughter, Olympia, along for a tropical getaway in the Bahamas. They took part in a lot of underwater activities, like snorkeling, and celebrated the couple’s 4 year wedding anniversary on a private yacht. This Olympic gold medalist has us longing for a vacation just like hers.
6. Vanessa & Nick Lachey’s Disney vacay
Vanessa, Nick and their 3 kids, Camden, Brooklyn and Phoenix, spent some time in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in June 2023. Their trip included all the Disney necessities, like pictures with every character they encountered, Mickey Mouse ears and lots of exciting rides. What’s better than spending some family time in The Most Magical Place on Earth!?
7. Gabrielle Union & Dwayne Wade’s French escape
The Union/Dwayne family always shows up in style, which makes sense as to why their French vacation was a blend of elegance and fun. The power couple, along with their 3 children, Zaire, Zaya and Kaavia James, enjoyed the charm of the French countryside and the glamor of Paris. Their visit included many museums, like the Louvre and the Musée Rodin, where the family was given a private tour. This vacation was the ideal blend of culture and relaxation.
8. Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes’s Wyoming stay
After the movie Barbie came out in theaters and all of the press tours were over, Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes and their 2 daughters, Esmeralda and Amada, took a serene vacation to the mountains of Wyoming. They stayed at the Caldera House, a luxury hotel located in Jackson Hole. This is also a favorite spot for many celebrities, from the Kardashian family to Mandy Moore. If you’re looking for a low-key relaxing vacation, Wyoming is your place.
