Aspen, Colorado

For an option closer to home, look no further than Aspen. This Rocky Mountains ski town is quite the cultural scene with jaw-dropping views that’ll make your heart skip a beat. Get ready to strap on your skis and explore Aspen’s world class ski areas.

After a day of hitting the slopes, you can check out Cloud Nine, a mountain-top restaurant and après ski hotspot. Relax with gourmet French-inspired cuisine, champagne showers that turn every moment into a celebration and music that will get you dancing. Aspen awaits, ready to show you the time of your life on and off the mountain.

Whistler Blackcomb, Canada

Surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, Whistler Blackcomb is home to interconnected mountains that offer the largest ski area in North America. Here, you can have an unparalleled skiing experience and shred the same trails that were showcased in the 2010 Winter Olympics

Wind down and enjoy the lively atmosphere at various bars and restaurants located in Whistler Village and at the base of the mountain. From cozy pubs to trendy lounges, there’s a spot for every après ski style.

Niseko, Japan

This destination is known for its incredible snow conditions, diverse terrain and cultural experiences that will allow you to immerse yourself in the magic of Japanese winter. With its abundant snowfall, Niseko offers more than just your typical ski resort, like incredible backcountry and off-piste skiing and snowboarding and night skiing

The traditional Japanese hot springs, called onsens, are a great off the slopes activity.  There you can relax and rejuvenate in a natural thermal bath, soak in the healing mineral-rich water all while enjoying serene mountain views.

Courchevel, France

Courchevel’s combination of world-class skiing, luxurious amenities, astonishing views and a lively atmosphere make it a sought-after destination for winter sports enthusiasts and those seeking a glamorous alpine retreat. The resort has various child-friendly facilities, including ski schools, nurseries and beginner runs, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for the whole family.

Courchevel is also known to host a range of exclusive events throughout the winter season, including international ski competitions, fashion shows, music festivals and art exhibitions. So in case you wanna enjoy more time in town then on the mountain, these events can add to the vibrant atmosphere of the resort and even give you something special to head home with.

Portillo, Chile

We couldn’t finish the list without a trip to South America. This southern hemisphere gem allows you to experience winter when we have summer, meaning their ski season lasts from June to October. The snow conditions are legendary with an average annual snowfall of around 23 feet!

Make sure you plan ahead because there are limited accommodations and a strict capacity limit of 450 guests. The iconic yellow Hotel Portillo should be at the top of your list, located at the center of the ski area. While here, feel free to après ski with a chilean pisco sour at the hotel bar or unwind with a rejuvenating massage at the Portillo Spa. In Portillo, you’ll find the perfect combo of adventure, relaxation and socialization to make it an ideal wintery-kind-of-summer getaway.
